 Friday 25th September 2020 L/o: To analyse a media text using Media Language It is a medium long shot. They have chosen this type so you could see things in greater detail. Like his facial expressions, the gun and holster. The clothing tells us that he wants to stay hidden because of the dark colours and he is quite wealthy as they look like decent quality.  The props suggest that this film is an action because guns and holsters are usually used in this genre.  His facial expressions imply that the film is tense and serious. The diegetic sounds kept in were, gun shots, car tires screeching and windows being broken. These were left in to show intensity and create excitement. This will interest the audience and make them want to watch the film.  2) The media is neutral/unbiased. I disagree with this statement. I think this because anybody can access different media forms. Due to this multiple opinions and views are spread across media platforms. Newspapers for example often bend the truth and try to make you believe false information or persuade you that their opinion is correct. 8) The media we consume should be carefully controlled. I agree with this statement. I feel this way because if we are not careful we could see things that are not suitable for our age category or are just unpleasant sites. Adults should always know what their children are accessing online. Older children should also be weary of what they view. The media can be a dangerous place if not used in the correct way.
