L/o: To analyse a media text using Media Language
They have chosen this type so you could see things in greater detail. Like his facial expressions, the gun and holster.
The clothing tells us that he wants to stay hidden because of the dark colours and he is quite wealthy as they look like decent quality.
The props suggest that this film is an action because guns and holsters are usually used in this genre.
His facial expressions imply that the film is tense and serious.
The diegetic sounds kept in were, gun shots, car tires screeching and windows being broken. These were left in to show intensity and create excitement. This will interest the audience and make them want to watch the film.
The transition used was a fade into a black screen this is because it shows a change in time.
The cuts at the end were faster and more choppy.
The type of shot used us a long shot.

There was a backing track create tension and an atmosphere. This would excite and intrigue the audience.
Also, at the start of the trailer you could see a boat reversing to match this the soundtrack played backwards.
In the Tenet trailer, soundtrack is used affectively to create atmosphere. For example in the scene where guns where being shot sound effects were used to create tension. This would excite and intrigue the audience making them want to continue watching and find out what happened.
In the Tenet trailer, camerawork is used affectively to show action . For example in the scene where they shake the camera to show someone is being hit this makes it feel like the audience is in the scene with the actors. The shot emphasis the tension in the scene. It was a very action filled scene, this was successfully shown with the shaken camera.

In this picture, a close up shot had been used. I think they used this to show his facial expressions and what he is thinking.. They suggest that he is talking in a very intense manner. They also indicate that he is excited and feels strongly about the subject.
Throughout, the Dead pool trailer different music tracks were used at different points. Fast paced tunes to create intensity and excitement.
